In December 2017, I visited Jamaica for the first time, and it turned out to be a trip of a lifetime. Jamaica is an island nation located in the Caribbean Sea, and it's known for its reggae music, beautiful beaches, and vibrant culture. However, one of the things that surprised me the most was the open selling of weed on the streets like it was nothing, especially in tourist spots.
I stayed at El Greco Resort, which had everything I needed within the complex. The hotel provided access to Doctor's Cave Beach, which was a paradise on earth. The beach was beautiful with its white sand, crystal clear water, and beautiful coral reefs. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind.
From Montego Bay, I went on a day trip to Blue Hole and Secret Falls. It was a breathtaking natural swimming pool hidden in the depths of the rainforest. The water was crystal clear, deep, cold, and naturally clean. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I will never forget. The scenery was stunning with its lush greenery, cascading waterfalls, and natural swimming pools.

On my way to Blue Hole, I met a guy who was selling brownies on the road. I tried one, and it was delicious. It was the best $5 I spent in Jamaica. The locals are friendly and welcoming, and they are always ready to share their culture and traditions with visitors.
I went to Seven Mile Beach and enjoyed the lively atmosphere of Margaritaville Resto bar, where I danced to the beat of Jamaican music. Later, I visited Rick's Café, which was nominated for being the best beach bar in the world. The cliff jumps and dives were amazing, and the view during sunset was breathtaking. The nightlife in Negril is vibrant and exciting, with plenty of bars and clubs to choose from.
I took a flight to Kingston and went on a city tour. Kingston is the capital of Jamaica, and it's a bustling city with a rich history and culture. I visited several landmarks, including the Bob Marley Museum, which was unfortunately closed on Sundays. I also went to the Devons house, the Emancipation Park, the National Heroes Park, and the Port Royale. The food in Kingston is delicious, with its famous jerk chicken and pork being a must-try.
Overall, my trip to Jamaica was full of surprises and adventures. Jamaica is a beautiful country with friendly people, delicious food, and stunning natural scenery. It's important to be aware of the open selling of weed on the streets, but it shouldn't detract from the overall experience. I would definitely recommend Jamaica as a travel destination, and I can't wait to go back someday.
